Undergraduate Nathan McNew wins Goldwater Scholarship
Nathan McNew, a DU senior majoring in physics and mathematics, has been named a 2009 Goldwater Scholar by the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program. Nathan is the first Goldwater Scholar from DU; physics and chemistry major Donald Dressen was named an honorable mention in 2007.
Nathan was profiled in September by DU Today. He is currently studying abroad in Germany.
