Additional important information for international students
International students must submit the University of Denver supplement for International Students. The I-20 form cannot be issued without this completed form.
The time required for international students to obtain visas has increased since September 11, 2001, and some rules have changed. Students need to be aware of possible transit visa requirements. The following information is very helpful:
- The Student Information portion of the University of Denver International Student and Scholar Services website. Particular attention should be paid to the information on transit visas.
- The University of Denver International Student and Scholar Handbook is an excellent resource. Pre-Arrival Information provides much useful information.
- eduPASS! The SmartStudent Guide to Studying in the USA has links to useful, brief information about cultural differences, living in the USA, passports and visas, and more.
